More biting insects in Fort-Coulonge and Mansfield this year?

Since 2015, residents of Fort-Coulonge and parts of Mansfield have taken advantage of the Biting Insect Control Program. Some residents complained this year, noticing a rise in the numbers of these insects. In an interview with CHIP 101.9, Richard Vadeboncoeur of GDG Environment explained the reasons why there are more biting insects this year, saying that last year’s floods greatly reduced the mosquito population by washing out their breeding areas
