The Anishinaabek Fort de Coulonge Kichesipirini community will be holding a meeting this Saturday, January 26th at 1 pm at the Salle Paroissiale located in Fort-Coulonge to mobilize the population regarding the forest industry.

The purpose of the meeting, according to the committee in charge, is to gather the population in order to find ways and solutions to stop the operations that bring the wood out of the Pontiac, as well as to encourage the reopening of certain forest industries in the region.

According to the communication from the Anishinaabek community of Fort-Coulonge Kichesipirini, the project director, Ronald Godin, can count on the support of the municipality of Mansfield and he hopes that other municipalities and politicians will support them in their approach.
