Mansfield and Fort-Coulonge revised their public notice regarding the case of COVID-19

The municipalities of Mansfield and Fort-Coulonge have revised their most recent public notice regarding a COVID-19 case that circulated in the Pontiac.

“There are currently no officially positive cases of COVID-19 in the Pontiac,” said the review, which was posted via Facebook.

Earlier Monday afternoon, the municipalities of Mansfield and Fort-Coulonge confirmed in a publication and in an interview with CHIP 101.9 that a case of COVID-19 circulated in the Pontiac over the weekend and that the infected person is in forced confinement, outside of the Pontiac. These facts have since been retracted by the municipalities of Mansfield and Fort-Coulonge.

But it remains imperative to be very careful and if you doubt that you have had contact with anyone who has symptoms related to the virus, you are required to isolate yourself and contact 819-644-4545. “– Excerpt from the revised public notice

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Outaouais (CISSSO) did not respond to CHIP 101.9 questions at this time regarding the situation.
