Environment Canada has issued a new special bulletin on air quality for several regions in the Pontiac. Smoke from forest fires in northwestern Ontario and Manitoba are causing poor air quality across the region, starting this morning and lasting until the evening.

Children, elders and those with cardiovascular problems are at risk and may experience irritation or shortness of breath.
