La Défriche, a program targeting young people in the region
On September 7th, the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi du Pontiac (CJE Pontiac) officially launched its new program called La Défriche, which targets 14 to 35 year olds. CHIP journalist Élizabeth Séguin met with Suzanne Vallières-Nollet, the Coordinator of La Défriche and Youth Projects Agent for the CJE Pontiac, and Milly Beaulieu, youth worker at the CJE Pontiac, to learn the context of the implementation of such a program and the details concerning La Défriche.
Suzanne Vallières-Nollet says that they want to encourage volunteerism among the youth.
