Jane Toller elected Warden of the MRC Pontiac

The people of the Pontiac have put their trusted in local businesswoman Jane Toller to occupy the position of Warden elected by universal suffrage.

Mme Toller got a strong showing garnering 3528 votes, more than 2,000 more than her closest rival Raymond Durocher who obtained 1358 votes according to the results published by the MRC Pontiac.

In third place Linda Davis had 1022 votes followed by Charlotte L’Écuyer with 842 votes ahead of Pierre Fréchette’s 802 votes.

The results should be official after some usual procedures that will take place on Tuesday.

This is a return to politics for Jane Toller, who has already served as a Councillor in Toronto.
