Last Saturday, according to l’Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario (AFO), more than 14,000 people across the province were out protesting the decision to abolish the Office of French language Services commissioner. It should be noted that the Ontarian French speaking community in Pembroke gathered outside Conservative MP John Yakabuski office.

The Neo-democrat MLA for Timmins and House Leader of the Official Opposition at Queen’s Park, Gilles Bisson, gave CHIP his comments on this issue.
