Aerial operations for the control of biting insects in the Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield area has begun much earlier than in the past. The early spring accelerated the process and as explained by Richard Vadeboncœur, the responsible for using the product to control insects of the GDG Environnement firm, applying the product to the larvae at the right time is the one and only way to succeed.
“Last year, we started on May 6, this year, we are almost two weeks before. Our analyzes show us that it is in our interest to do it now to ensure that the product works, ”explains Richard Vadeboncœur.
The residents of Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield could therefore hear the helicopter flying over the region yesterday (April 19). In a few weeks, GDG Environnement will spread the product, described as ecological by the company, but this time it will be on land.
