Future Livewell Research Center in Litchfield subject to legal mortgage

According to information obtained by CHIP 101.9, LiveWell Canada, who plans to build a Cannabis Research Center at 211 Route 301 in Litchfield, is the subject of a legal mortgage, from Montreal-based company: Deslan – A.I.M Environmental . The amount of the legal mortgage claimed by Deslan is $ 1,679,119. It was signed in Montreal on November 20th.
A legal mortgage is a document created to secure the repayment of a debt or the discharge of some other obligation by a mortgagor.

Deslan – AIM provides services of decommissioning, asset recovery, demolition, asbestos and lead abatement, and contaminated soil remediation, as well as cleaning, removal, and recycling of storage tanks.

LiveWell plans to build a world-class research and innovation center in the MRC Pontiac (Litchfield). The corporation says the Research Center will position Quebec as a leader in Cannabis innovation, production and distribution. It also plans to grow cannabis and hemp in hybrid greenhouses.

It should also be noted that according to the sources of CHIP 101.9, a security company has suspended offering surveillance services as a result of non-payment by LiveWell.
