The Organizing Committee of the Festival international du cinéma des Femmes de Fort-Coulonge issued a press release, yesterday, regarding the Festival’s 2019 program. In the release it is said that it is possible to obtain a weekend pass $ 25 Festival by sending an email to culturephareouest@gmail.com and buy tickets at www.phareouest.ca and via their Facebook page. The Festival goal is to celebrate and create a space where the work and the words of the directors can be shown. The Festival’s Organizing Committee also said that although women’s equality has increased in recent decades, the presence of female directors is still too rare in the public sphere.
