Fort-Coulonge is looking for a director general / secretary-treasurer

The village of Fort-Coulonge is looking for a director general / secretary-treasurer who will assume the responsibilities of the municipal administration. Among the qualities sought for the position, it is noted to have a sense of planning, organization, adaptation and flexibility.

Applicants must in particular hold a college or university diploma in an appropriate discipline (administration, accounting or finance) and have relevant experience in the municipal, government, paragovernmental or the private sector.

Under the authority of the municipal council, the candidate will assume the following responsibilities:

– Attend meetings of the board and other committees, execute decisions and report to the board;
– Administer the financial, accounting and budgetary management of the municipality;
– Prepare and draft various legal and administrative documents such as minutes, regulations, grant applications, accountability, loan regulations, etc .;
– Assume a decisive role of communication between elected officials, citizens, employees, governments and all other stakeholders;
– Ensure the management of human, financial and material resources of the municipality.
