A fire broke out at the Black River Inn located in Waltham. Emergency services arrived around 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, but the fire had already ravaged a good part of the building. The building is likely a total loss. More information to come.

The Black River Inn located on the Black River was built during the historic logging era of the early 20th century. Usually, the Black River Inn is in operation year round with direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails.
