Financial support to CISSSO for the implementation of a satellite hemodialysis unit

Quebec’s Minister of Health and Social Services Gaétan Barrette, accompanied by MNA André Fortin, visited the Pontiac Hospital, where he made an important announcement of an investment of $ 2,130,700 in financial support to the CISSS de l’Outaouais to establish a satellite hemodialysis unit at the Pontiac Hospital. The project consists of decentralization of services from five treatment Units at the Hôpital de Hull, where Pontiac patients are currently being treated, to the Pontiac hospital.

The over 80 people gathered and loudly applauded MNA André Fortin for this news.
A contribution of $ 659,626 came from the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation to go towards this goal.
