According to the date aquired by the “Société de l’assurance Automobile du Québec” (SAAQ), the number of electric cars being driven on Quebec roads has risen to more than 42,000 in March. This number seems to be constantly on the rise as more and more people take the necessary steps to transition to an electric vehicle. Madeleine Vallières, a resident of Fort-Coulonge, decided to make the transition in which she explained in an interview with CHIP 101.9, it was relatively easy to install an electric charging station at her home.

The cost of installing a kiosk may vary, but including the purchase cost of the equipment and installation, the initial amount ranges from $ 1,400 to $ 1,700 without government rebates, but there are up to $ 600 in rebates that one can receive from the Government of Quebec.
