ESSC vs Flying Fathers

Students and teachers from Sieur-de-Coulonge High School will face off against the “Flying Fathers”, a hockey team composed of Catholic priests, on Tuesday, February 19th.

The Flying Fathers travel across North America to play hockey while raising money for different causes. Father Justin, from the St-Pierre Parish in Fort-Coulonge and also a member of the team, gave details on the motivations behind such an activity.

Part of the funds raised during the game on the 19th will be collected by the St-Pierre Parish, father Justin explained what their share could be used for.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 19th at 7pm at Centre des Loisirs des Draveurs in Fort-Coulonge. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and admission is free for toddlers 3 and under. You can purchase your ticket at Sieur-de-Coulonge, at the St-Pierre Parish or with the participating hockey players.
