Denise Giroux officially the NDP candidate for the Pontiac

Yesterday, Denise Giroux was officially nominated NDP candidate for the Pontiac in the upcoming 2019 federal election in October. The nomination was made official at the NDP’s inaugural meeting that was held in Wakefield on Tuesday, July 23rd. The NDP Member of Parliament Christine Moore (Abitibi-Témiscamingue) was present for the occasion.

Along with being Involved with the NDP in the Pontiac for more than 10 years, Denise Giroux is also a lawyer and employee relations officer. She has solid expertise in human rights and workers advocacy.

So far, the current Liberal Pontiac MP William Amos is also an incumbent candidate for his party along with Dave Blackburn candidacy for the Conservative party which was announced several months ago and Claude Bertrand candidacy for the Green Party.
