Following a possible case of COVID-19 in the Pontiac, CHIP 101.9 spoke with the director of the Centre de service scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais, Denis Rossignol, to learn more about the procedures that could affect the various schools in the Pontiac. Denis Rossignol explains that it is public health which is responsible for the various procedures, such as communicating with parents when a case is declared in a classroom.

Denis Rossignol’s advice to parents is to try to reduce the risks as much as possible.

If a case of COVID-19 turns out to be positive, public health would communicate directly with Denis Rossignol to ensure the coordination of the various decisions. The full interview with Denis Rossignol is available here.
