Deadly crash on Chemin de la Montagne in Chelsea

A crash involving a single vehicle occurred last Saturday (March 20), around 10 p.m., near 195 chemin de la Montagne in Chelsea. At the time of the incident, three men were in the vehicle.

The driver, a 22 year old male, was pronounced dead. As for the front passenger, a man in his twenties, suffered serious injuries that put his life in danger and later passed away in hospital. As regards the rear passenger, also a man in his twenties, he was ejected about ten meters from the vehicle suffering minor injuries.

At the moment, the Public Security of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais is studying the scene to explain this departure off the road. Chemin de la Montagne was reopened to traffic around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. The investigation is on-going.
