A motorcyclist from Gatineau died last Saturday after an accident occurred at approximately 2:30 pm in Thorne on highway 303. According to the Sûreté du Québec, the 45-year-old woman was riding “normally” along with other motorcyclists on highway 303 north when she struck by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The Sûreté du Québec have stated that “the theory that the driver of the vehicle had been passing on a solid line is part of the thesis of the accident”. She was seriously injured in her legs and later died at the hospital at approximately 4:30 pm. The driver of the other vehicle, alone on board, sustained minor injuries.
