The Christmas Market at the George Bryson Cultural House will take place on December 4, with more than 20 artisans displaying their offerings. Organizer Nathalie Denault explained that the majority of activities that used to take place will be back, because the event will be held outside.

“It’s the same concept, the same principle. They are local artisans, and when I say local, I mean people who are interested in coming and setting up. … We have a painter from Aylmer and another booth for a lady from Gatineau. We have people from all over, it’s not really exclusive to the Pontiac. The door is open to all people from the Pontiac, all artists, they are welcome to come and sit down,” she said (translated).

This year, people will also be invited to participate in the fundraising campaign of the Coopérative des loisirs des Draveurs to provide the arena with a new refrigeration system.
