Although the BIG WOW Poker Run, which was to take place on March 21st, has been canceled, the organizers encourage participants to donate to Bouffe Pontiac.

The president of the Pontiac Club Quad, René Barrette, told CHIP 101.9 that the organization got 140 pre-sale registrations for this annual race. As the profits collected during this activity were to be given to Bouffe Pontiac, he clarified that runners would be offered to give the amount invested to the organization, when reimbursed.

Those who wish to be reimbursed can communicate with Jean-François Gauvreau by email, autoprojfgauvreau qc.aira.com or by phone: (819) 743-6303.

The race was canceled due to measures implemented by the Quebec government in the past few days to counter the transmission of COVID-19 in the province.

The organizers thank the understanding of the runners and wish to see them in 2021 for the next BIG WOW Poker Run.
