In a press release sent on August 18, 2020, the Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) wishes to inform parents that the start of the primary school year will be gradual starting Monday August 31. 2020.

Students will return to school in the following order:

• Monday August 31: entry for 1st and 2nd year students (1st cycle);
• Tuesday September 1: entry for 3rd and 4th year students (1st and 2nd cycle);
• Wednesday September 2: entry for 5th and 6th year students (1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle).

Denis Rossignol, Director General of the Centre de services scolaires des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais.

This sequence will ensure, as always, the quality of educational services and guarantee a healthy and safe environment for all. School daycare services will be open as usual in the morning and evening for students present at school. However, they will not be open during the day for students who start a day or two later. The CSSHBO made this decision for the sake of getting back to good functioning for the reception of 100% of its students.

It should also be remembered that the gradual entry of preschool students has already been announced, heard and agreed with parents, according to the procedures of the various schools.
