CREDDO wants the government to support the Pontiac in transportation

25 January 2021 à 12:00 am

On the occasion of the first National Climate Action Forum, which will be held from today (January 25 to 29), the Regional Council for the Environment and Sustainable Development in the Outaouais (CREDDO) says it wants to position the region, including rural areas such as the Pontiac, so that projects can be implemented. CREDDO CEO Benoit Delage insisted on the electrification of vehicles for regions like the Pontiac.

This virtual forum will bring together more than 500 decision-makers and socio-economic, municipal, regional and government professionals already engaged or wishing to engage in climate action. Benoit Delage also hopes that projects, such as the tramway that could serve the western sector of Gatineau, or the Aylmer sector, could have a positive impact for the Pontiac in the fight against climate change.

The full interview with the Director General of CREDDO, Benoit Delage, is available here.
