COVID-19 vaccination appointments for the general population have started in the Pontiac

3 May 2021 à 12:00 am

Booking an appointment for vaccination of the general population started last Friday (April 30), with the 50-59 age group and today with 45-49. Later this week, 40-44 (May 5) and 35-39 (May 7) will also be able to book one via Clic Santé. The vaccine can be given in vaccination centers, but also in various pharmacies in the region.

“We will have enough vaccines, so we must not hesitate, we must register. In all pharmacies, we should have the Moderna vaccine which came in recently. The more our time slots fill up, the more we will have, so really, we have to make an appointment, ”says the owner of the Familiprix pharmacy in Shawville, Marc Aufranc.

Also, Marc Aufranc specified that for permanent residents of Ontario who work in Quebec or who currently live in their second homes, it will be possible to obtain vaccines in pharmacies.

Appointments for the general population should end next Friday (May 14) with 18 to 24 year olds. The French interview with Marc Aufranc is available here.
