This Thursday, March 21st, CHIP 101.9’s Marie Gionet will participate for a third consecutive year in the Défi des Chefs Leucan Outaouais, which is a fund raiser for the organization Leucan Outaouais. A friendly competition where eleven teams, each composed of media personnel from the region, a chef and a child or teenager in treatment or remission from cancer will compete in a cook-off for 700 guests presenting one dish each. In an interview at CHIP 101.9, Marie Gionet talked about her expectations for this year’s event.

Marie will be teamed up with 16-year-old Jeremie, who is in remission from a brain tumor, as well as a well-known chef in Chelsea, Yannick La Salle. The event will take place at the Palais des congrès in Gatineau.
