The CHIP 101.9 host Marie Gionet will once again participate in the Défi des chefs Leucan Outaouais for the CHIP 101.9 team, on March 19th at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau. This event is a friendly competition between nine teams made up of a media personality, a chef, and a child in treatment or in remission of cancer.

Marie Gionet will be paired with Arielle, 14 years old, in remission of her second cancer, as well as with the head chef at Les Flavoureux, Raphaël Morneau-Bérubé. Marie will discuss the various details of the event in a French interview that will soon be availabe.

The funds raised during this activity will be donated to Leucan Outaouais. To date, 400 tickets have been sold, and the organizers hope to double this number by March 19th.

In 2019, the CHIP 101.9 team, who was paired with the Bryson native chef Yannick La Salle, won the Défi des Chefs.
