Breaking and entering – appeal to the public
The Sûreté du Québec is asking for help from the public to identify three people in relation to a break and enter in a trade on Main Street in Portage-du-Fort on January 2, 2018.
Around 1:30 am, three suspects entered the business after smashing a window. They fled quickly after hearing the alarm. They tried to open the safe without success. The suspects are identified as being between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet. They were all dressed in dark or gray coats and dark trousers with a tuque or dark hood. The suspects fled in an older white GMC Savana vehicle.
