The Brauwerk Hoffman brewery, located in Campbell’s Bay, will be one of the local businesses participating in Festibière en boîte, the new form of Festibière, to be held in June.
Festibière co-founder, Alex Van Dieren, was happy to see the Pontiac brewery join the event this year.
In the context of COVID-19, the Festibière de Gatineau has reinvented itself in the form of a virtual gathering, which will be called Festibière en boîte. Mr. Van Dieren gave the details of this alternative version of Festibière, in an interview with CHIP 101.9.
Festival-goers can also purchase a box containing beer products and other surprises. More information is available at festibière.ca.
The event will be held virtually, on June 13th, with six local brewers from the Outaouais region. In addition to the Brauwerk Hoffman brewery, festival-goers will be able to taste the products of Brasseurs du Temps (Hull), À La Dérive Brasserie Artisanale (Gatineau), Gainsbourg (Hull), Brasserie artisanale Gallicus (Hull), and 5th Baron (Aylmer).
