There will be a benefit night for the Knights of Columbus Council 7221 that will take place this Saturday. One of the organizers of the event, Gaétan Forgues, painted a portrait of the evening’s activities:

“It’s an event that is close to my heart because, to start the evening, there are a few of my guitar students who will be there: Noémie Boisvert, Maggie Boisvert and Brooke Labine,” Forgues explained (translated). “My students will open the program with Louise Lapierre who will sing for them while they play the guitar. For the local people, they are well known, Michaela Cahill will be there, that’s for sure. There are others as well. There is a gentleman from Chapeau. It’s all local music except a family from Renfrew, the Weeks Family, who will also come to host. Nancy will also be present. A former student of mine, Amy Lynn Moffit, will be there too. She has sung a lot for the knights in the last few years for events here and there.”

Tickets cost $10 and the evening will start at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall on rue Baume in Fort Coulonge.
