Residents of the MRC Pontiac are invited to submit their questions electronically for the next meeting of the regional council of mayors or the council of the Unorganized Territory (TNO), which will take place on May 20th.

Those interested can fill in a form, available on the MRC Pontiac website by May 18th, 11:59 p.m..

The questions will be asked during the public question period, during the meeting, which will be by videoconference. The MRC Pontiac indicated that it was unable to welcome the public in this context, but that an audio recording of the session will be published on its website.

Note that if a question from the public is not answered during the session, the MRC Pontiac ensures that a member of staff will answer it within 30 days of the date of submission.

Remember that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the monthly meetings of the NWT Council and the Regional Council of Mayors are held by videoconference. MRC Pontiac Warden Jane Toller said this week that the meeting will be accessible to the media.
