A short chase began in the area where the police were able to stop the vehicle on Main Street in Waltham.

The 50-year-old Waltham man was released on a promise to appear in court. He is scheduled in court on July 11, 2017 at the Campbell’s Bay Courthouse. He could face charges of impaired driving.

His vehicle was seized for a period of 30 days, he is also charged with among others things, of driving without a valid driver’s license.

It should be noted that his blood alcohol level was nearly twice the limit.

À noter, que son taux d’alcoolémie s’élevait à près de deux fois la limite permise.
