Aquafolie Beach Passes bacteriological quality standards

The Ministry of Sustainable Development, the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change informs the public that Aquafolie Beach, Tim Horton’s Voyageurs Camp, now complies with the bacteriological quality standards for swimming water by the Ministry.

Samples taken on July 11, 2018 confirm that the beach is now rated B. Due to bacteriological contamination, access to the beach was temporarily banned.

Remember that, to know the bacteriological quality of the bathing waters of beaches eligible for the Environment-Beach program, it is sufficient to consult the Department’s website. You can also contact, from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, at the regional office of the Environmental Control Center of Quebec at 819-772-3434.
