The Quebec Provincial Court Judge, Jean Faullem, was appointed to Quebec Superior Court for the Gatineau, Labelle and Pontiac Districts by David Lametti, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. Faullem’s appointment was made under the new judicial appointment process introduced on October 20th, 2016, which emphasizes transparency, merit and diversity. It will continue to ensure the appointment of Judges who embody the highest standard of excellence and integrity.
Jean Faullem will replace Judge Pierre Dallaire, who will become a supernumerary judge as of February 26th, 2019. At the time of Faullem’s appointment to the Superior Court of Quebec, he was a Judge coordinator at the Quebec Court for the Outaouais region.
