Announcement about high-speed Internet in the Pontiac

A joint announcement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec with both Pontiac MP William Amos and Pontiac MNA André Fortin took place last Saturday. During the press conference, André Fortin and his federal counterpart, Will Amos, announced the impact high speed internet has in the Pontiac. André Fortin elaborates.

According to the local representatives, this announcement demonstrated the close collaboration between the Canadian and Quebec governments, which made this project possible.

In all, 1,425 residences are expected to have access to high-speed internet services in the region. The 16 communities in this project include:
