André Fortin tables local petition in support of Energy Davidson

Yesterday September 29, before Question Period at the National Assembly, the MNA for Pontiac André Fortin tabled the local petition in support of the Energy Davidson cogeneration project in the municipality of Mansfield.

In presenting the Petition, the speaker of the National assembly stated that no verbal response would be given to the G.A. request during the session, however André Fortin said that he will be following up with the ministers involved.

Note that in July, a petition to support the Davidson Energy project circulated in various municipalities across the MRC Pontiac with the objective of demonstrating to the government, the support in the community for the creation of the project in the region. The petition received a total of 1007 signatures in the Pontiac.
