Analysis of a new possible building for the Caisse Desjardins de Fort-Coulonge

The Caisse Desjardins de Fort-Coulonge held its annual general meeting this week. The volume of business has increased since the Laurentian Bank closed in Fort coulonge, having a positive growth impact at its local competiton, the Caisse Desjardins. Director of the Caisse Desjardins de Fort-Coulonge Stéphane Labine explains:

CHIP 101.9 has learned, that the increase in clientele at the Caisse populaire in Fort-Coulonge comes with logistical issues, that the current building located at the corner of Principale and Baume Streets may not meet the community’s needs. As Stéphane Labine explains, an analysis will be carried out as to what options are available:

Regarding the possible merger between the Caisses Desjardins de Chapeau and Fort-Coulonge, Stéphane Labine said that the prospect is still in the analysis stage.
The annual general meeting of the Caisse Desjardins de Chapeau will take place on May 28th.
