An electric vehicle soon available to the community

In the coming weeks, the MRC Pontiac will be purchasing an electric car to take part in the project of Système d’autopartage avec véhicule électrique en région (SAUVéR 2). Johanne Ouellet is the YHC Environment Business Development Manager, who coordinates the project:

This is the second project of its kind organized by the company YHC Environment. In 2019 a part of the Outaouais will join the project including the MRC Pontiac and Maniwaki, along with 8 other municipalities (Varennes, Carleton-sur-Mer, Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Mercier, Saint-Constant, Saint- Charles-sur-Richelieu, Saint-Fulgence and Saint-Simeon.)

In the MRC Pontiac, the environmental coordinator, Kari Richardson, explained how the MRC plans to use this electric vehicle once it has it in his purchased.
