Accidental death in Thorne

Last Friday (August 7) at around 11 a.m., the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) from the MRC Pontiac were called to the scene of an accident on Brouse Road in Thorne. A 63-year-old man from Clarendon had reportedly been struck by a branch of a tree he was cutting down. The man was taken to the hospital where he ultimately died of his injuries. According to the SQ, there are no suspicious elements.
