The agricultural sector can now rely on a toolkit intended to put in place appropriate prevention measures and ensure that activities continue.

The Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) has made available this virtual guide to specifically support people in this industry in their management of occupational health and safety, as well as ensuring the continuity of operations of businesses in the agricultural sector safely.

«Agriculture is a strategic sector of our economy. Despite the difficult context created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the government is doing everything it can to ensure that agricultural workers can evolve in safe environments during this period. The publication of the guide goes in this direction. More than ever, we need them and their role is very important. " - Jean Boulet, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Solidarity

Several documents, including the COVID-19 virtual guide to health standards, a poster, as well as a daily checklist can be downloaded now from the CNESST website.
