A rally organized next Monday to support the Davidson project

19 June 2020 à 12:00 am

There will be a rally next Monday (June 22) to demonstrate public support for the Davidson Energy project. The Davidson Power promoter Bruno St-Cyr recently said that he only needed a supply guarantee to go ahead with this project and the committee of investors created to support the project hopes to attract the attention in order to demonstrate the importance for the company of obtaining this guarantee. Pontiac MRC prefect Jane Toller told CHIP 101.9 that when he met the Minister of Forests, Wildlife and Parks Pierre Dufour, he was positive about the project.

The rally will take place at the Davidson Energy site in Mansfield, this Monday at 7 p.m. The various organizers assured that the public health instructions would be respected.
Depending on the timelines submitted, if the company obtains its supply guarantee, operations could begin in about two years.

Investors are counting on the support of local entrepreneurs to demonstrate to the current government the need for this project in the Pontiac, before advancing this project, described as structuring for the Pontiac, according to investors.
