5 July 2021 à 12:00 am

When the Government of Quebec announced $1,240,000 of financial assistance this week (June 28) to support the realization of 18 tourism projects in the Outaouais region. In addition to the funding of $ 75,000 allocated to the Outdoor Solidarity Cooperative – Aventure Hélianthe, another project on the Pontiac territory has received investments.

The Alluvia company, represented by Danielle Newman, was allocated a sum of $ 35,000 for the development of a high-end refuge in nature and a luxury ready-to-camp experience ( glamping) in the forest, on a farm in Bristol. More details on this project are expected to be released next fall.

This announcement was made when the Minister responsible for the Outaouais region, Mathieu Lacombe, visited the Outaouais.

The tourism industry generates significant economic benefits for our beautiful region, in addition to contributing to its influence and to its economic and cultural dynamism. I invite Quebeckers to visit us in large numbers this summer, while respecting sanitary measures, and to discover the hidden treasures of our cities and our many natural spaces.
– Mathieu Lacombe
