5th annual car show in Rapides-des-Joachims a success

More than 150 vehicles gathered in the small village of Rapides-des-Joachims this past Saturday (July 9) for the Downtown Life Committee’s fifth car show. According to organizer and committee President Paul André Paquette, close to 400 people visited the community, which has a year-round population of less than 200.

Gearheads came from all over the Ottawa Valley and even as far as Témiscamingue to show off their vintage vehicles. Paquette said that the event has been attracting more visitors every year since its inception and confirmed that there would be a sixth edition next year.
