The number of active cases in the Pontiac fell again, now reaching 12 cases, which is the lowest number of active cases for the region since March.

According to data from the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais, the number of hospitalizations has also fallen in the Outaouais, with 26 cases. According to the most recent data from the CISSS de l’Outaouais, no one is currently in intensive care.

Elsewhere in the region, the number of cases also appears to be declining. In total, the Outaouais has 248 active cases, of which 213 are said to be residents of Gatineau and 12 of the MRC Papineau. The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais and Vallée-de-la-Gatineau both report 5 cases or less.

Recall that the Premier of Quebec, François Legault, has already indicated that the curfew will end this Friday, May 28. The majority of regions would fall to the orange colour again from May 31, if the epidemiological situation allows it.
